Dear Z[meskall],

       There is to be a consultation at Baron Pasqualati’s at noon today. The M[aelzel] affair is being settled quite peaceably.  But I must be off to London soon, if I want to make anything our of Wellingtons Sieg.  For peace may perhaps be declared in a few weeks.  – So, if you can, please come – Bring back with you the hearing machines, as the whole business is no longer necessary –
